Contribution:Hired to bridge the experience between two independent but similar conceptualizations of a single product.

Problem Solve: New Security Monitoring enterprise product offered as a licensed service through Booz Allen Hamilton. As a completely new technology, not only was it high security, but there is no direct competitor or defined use cases. Being a cutting edge solution, the challenge was to put the technology into context and usability. Overly engineered, going down rabbit holes of an ocean of possibilities with no clear direction.

Process:

Discovery: Conducting alignment workshops including card sorting, dot prioritization and journey mapping exercises, we were able to determine the three primary personas as well as their focused use cases. Those personas and uses cases were then translated to feature wireframes and conceptual visuals.

Work Flows & Calls to Action: By conducting regular collaborative journey mapping workshops we were able to define primary use cases and workflows for prioritized calls to action in a responsive and sustainable format.

Responsive Design Foundation Design: Simultaneously worked with multiple engineering teams to translate requirements and design decisions. Adapted   a responsive material grid format and universal standard templates, resulting in a design system and library.

Challenges:
- With two independent products and product teams already in the works, determining which areas of each concepts were going to be incorporated into the final product.
- Determining which front-end framework to use: Initial product was created using DOM. Second product was created using React. Neither were built on a responsive grid.
