Problem Solve: Each State, in collaboration with the local educational agencies must ensure, involved, provide, or arrange for the provision of, pre-employment transition services for all veterans with disabilities.
Process:
Discovery: Worked closely with BAs and Product Manager who use to be Counselors (Primary Target Audience) to capture persons, user journeys and translate requirements.
Responsive Design Foundation Design: Translated conceptual wireframes to grid based responsive format in sketch at first and then translated to UXPin. Created Mid to Hi-Fidelity prototypes and Design System in UXPin. Note: I choose UXPin because it allowed for foundational design as well as providing a cloud based design system, allowed for prototyping for demos, and had an intelligent tool to test colors and visually impaired users in real-time. At this time, Adobe XD did provide prototyping.
Contribution: 3 Month Contract to provide in-depth UX strategy. Primary responsibility was to translate and apply UX insights and standards to existing wireframes, while proving journey mapping and content flow. By applying clear workflows, I was able to showcase inconsistencies and missed opportunities to create a more holistic, action oriented and guided experience.
Challenges: Lean and green product leadership with robust timeline. Constant challenge in justifying UX process like workflows and user testing. Defining Front-end framework to determine initial HTML and CSS handoff to engineering.
